How to apply
Step 1: Find a Supervisor

Discuss potential projects and funding options (scholarship availability varies).
Step 2: Prepare Documents
Research Proposal (5–10 pages, including objectives, methodology, and expected contributions).
CV (Lattes or international format) highlighting publications, grants, and research experience.
PhD Diploma/Certificate (or proof of pending completion).
Letter of Support from the supervising professor at UFU.
Step 3: Submit Application
Applications are accepted year-round, but scholarships (e.g., PNPD/CAPES) have specific calls.
Submit documents via email to PPGQUI’s administrative office (see website).
Step 4: Evaluation & Admission
The PPGQUI committee reviews applications based on:
